14 дек, 18:08

In November of this year, there was a decrease in food inflation, which amounted to 0.5%, compared to 0.8% in the previous month. This information was released by the State Statistics Service, ProAgro Group reports.

One of the key aspects of this trend is the depreciation of a number of products, including sugar, which fell by 4.3%, fruit - by 2.1%, and sunflower oil - by 1.9%. Prices for pasta, meat, and meat products also declined.

Despite these positive trends, some products have seen price increases. Vegetables went up by 13.2%, milk by 2.6%, butter by 2.5%, and cheeses by 2.1%. Compared to November 2022, the cost of the grocery basket increased by 5.1%.

This price development indicates some stability in the food segment, but also highlights the challenges faced by the consumer market. Changes in food prices may also affect consumer habits and budgeting strategies for Ukrainian citizens.
