The market of mushrooms in Ukraine: The decline in import and domestic production

Recently, Ukrainian supermarkets have witnessed the opening of imports of Polish mushrooms, which indicates a significant turn in the market, which has not been carried out with a break in the last 15 years, due to the occurrence of such episodes. From 1995 to 2005, there were important parts of mushrooms on the Ukrainian market in the Polish campaign. During the large-scale trade of Polish mushrooms on the Ukrainian market, there is instability, closure of enterprises due to industrial compost and logistical problems. Ukrainian mushroom growers could not completely fill the needs of the market due to problems due to compost and other plants, which led to a large deficit of the local organism.

No matter how hard, trading and wholesale companies sent mushrooms to Poland to look for because of the shortage in Ukraine. They seriously believe that there is also a deficit in Poland, valid Ukrainian citizenship still had to complete purchases, possibly by concluding long-term contracts.

The price of mushrooms in Ukraine with Polish imports is 130-150 UAH/kg including VAT. The success of Ukrainian farmers in real enterprises and competition with Poland indicate that imports do not threaten mushroom growers in the long term. The free trade zone with the EU can conclude new deals and competition in May.
