McDonald's, one of the largest fast food chains in the world, continues its expansion in Ukraine. According to Yulia Badritdinova, the company's head of Ukraine, it plans to open six more restaurants by the end of 2024, two of which will appear in Uzhhorod and Chernivtsi.

Out of a total of 117 restaurants, the company's Ukrainian operations served 85.7 million customers in 2023. This demonstrates the continued interest of consumers in McDonald's products in Ukraine.

Last year was also important for the development of the chain's menu. Popular burgers, such as the Cheeseburger, Big Mac, and Double Cheeseburger, are leading the way in orders. This year, the company also expanded its regular menu by adding new products such as the Chicken Junior.

In addition, in 2023, self-service terminals became the most popular ordering method, accounting for 45% of all orders. The number of active users of the McDonald's mobile app has also grown significantly, exceeding 470 thousand people.

The company's CEO Yulia Badritdinova emphasized the plans for further development of the chain, particularly in Kyiv's satellite cities. According to her, last year was successful in terms of investments in the expansion and renovation of McDonald's restaurants in Ukraine, and this trend will continue in the future.

Thanks to the support from the company's head office, the Ukrainian division has secured all the necessary investments in development and modernization. Future plans include expanding its presence in new cities and constantly updating the menu to meet the needs of consumers of all ages.
